Chocolution

Changing chocolate for good

School of Choc

The cornerstone of Chocolution is education. Our passion for cacao is matched by our desire to share our knowledge with the world. This resource page is here for you to upgrade your knowledge and understanding of all things Theobroma Cacao.

Our explicit intention in sharing this knowledge is that you become informed . . . and . . . create a global chocolate ecosystem that heals our forests, helps cacao growing communities thrive . . . and your local community reclaim ownership of chocolate production.

The need for Evolution

  • Where are we now?
  • How did we get here?
  • Where are we going?

Our current situation is not working and is not sustainable in the short term. Large corporations taking value out of the system as shareholder profit, cacao being traded as a commodity, heirloom varieties being neglected and hybrid varieties being fostered on unsuspecting communities.

Community owned & operated

Our vision . . . a network of community owned and operated chocolate factories, selling direct to consumers and buying direct from growers. Collapsing the cocoa supply chain and increasing value for all stakeholders.
